We have been extremely lucky and the fishing has been very good. We have managed to get plenty of big brown trout and lots of char.

As seen on this photos the big brown trout is very strong and the rod can be in danger. The arctic char is also powerful and is no less choice of catch. The weather is very important factor in Lake Thingvellir and it is our experience that some wind is needed to get

good result. We have been trying out spots in The national Park of Thingvellir and also in private places that we have access to.
